Responsibilities and duties of the Domestic Electrician role
Reporting to the Qualified Supervisor, you will:
* Install extractor fans and general electrical components in domestic properties with attention to safety and compliance.
* Carry out wiring for Solar PV panels and Air Source Heat Pumps to specification, as required.
* Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service on-site.
* Travel to customer sites across the North East, North West, and Yorkshire.
* Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
* Accurately document and report work completed for audit and regulatory compliance.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Mandatory:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
* AM2 Assessment
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
* C&G 2391-52 – Initial & Periodic Inspection & Testing
* ECS Gold Card
Desirable:
* C&G 2399-13/14 or LCL Level 3 in Solar PV Installation
* LCL Level 3 in ASHP Installation (Non-refrigerant)
* WRAS Water Regulations & Part L
* Competent Person Scheme (e.g. NICEIC, NAPIT)
* MCS certified
