GDPR Update

We are currently in the process of delivering updates to the site that will ensure we continue to meet our obligations through Data Protection.

The site already goes a long way towards compliance. For example, candidate data is stored and managed via secure servers.

Candidates currently (and will continue to) have the ability to sign in to their account and view or edit/deactivate (where applicable) the following details...

• Candidate profile (name, address, contact details, CV file, supporting files, synopsis, key skills/career details, social media profiles)
• Saved job searches
• Jobs by email subscriptions
• Job applications (view only)
• Saved jobs (job wish list)
• Registration details (name, email, password, marketing preferences)
• Email subscriptions and account cancellation (cancel marketing emails, unsubscribe from job alerts, delete account)

Although the system as it stands is on solid ground, we have taken GDPR as an opportunity to review existing data protection processes and to ensure that we bolster them where necessary. Broadly speaking, we will be updating the software to add, or in most cases improve, it's ability to do the following...

• Gain GDPR consent from existing users
• Gain GDPR consent from new users upon registration, application, etc.
• Ensure users can access their personal information, review it, and where appropriate manage/edit that data
• Ensure that when a user deletes their account, we fully remove or anonymise any personally identifiable data

We will update our Privacy Policy once all updates have been fully tested and implemented.
