Join Sodexo as a Food Service Assistant atLVS Ascot, SL5 8DR, where you will play a crucial role in delivering fresh, high-quality meals in a prestigious environment.Pay: £12.78 per hour before 5pm and £14.95 per hour after 5pmHours: 8 hours per weekWorking Pattern: Sundays (8.30am - 2.30pm, 5.00pm-7.30pm)Check your local transport links here: Plan Your Journey | TravelineWhat You'll Do:Prepare and present food to the notified standard, ensuring the ethos of Fresh Food from Scratch is followedTo ensure all work areas and surfaces are clean and tidy as is practical at all times, especially at the end of the day/shiftTo serve customers in a quick, polite manner ensuring good customer service at all timesReplenish food and equipment to ensure an efficient and seamless serviceTo complete any administration as requested including food temperatures, cleaning schedules, delivery temperatures, stock takes etc.To ensure the kitchen is maintained in a clean, organized manner and all food safety and health and safety policies and procedures are followedTo promote a friendly working relationship with colleaguesTo raise any issues to the Head Chef or Catering Manager in a timely mannerTo work at school events, as required, with occasional evening and weekend workTo assist with the set up, service, clearing and cleaning of function catering as requestedTo assist in other local units as may be necessary in an emergencyWhat You Bring:Experience in a catering or hospitality role, ideally within a school or large-scale food service environment.A passion for food service and providing a positive dining experience.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends if required.What We Offer:Working with Sodexo is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to be part of something greater.
