Delivering high-quality food services at a busy military base. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a structured and rewarding environment, supporting the daily operations that keep our service personnel fueled and ready.What you'll do:As part of the catering team, you will:Support food preparation, cooking, and presentation in line with military menus and recipe standardsEnsure all food is cooked, stored, and served at correct temperatures, with accurate compliance checksProvide a high standard of customer service to military personnel and visitorsAttend team briefs, huddles, and reviews to support personal development and performanceMaintain a clean, hygienic workspace and follow PPE guidelines at all timesReport accidents, near misses, or equipment issues promptlyOperate safely and efficiently in a secure environment, following all security and handover proceduresAssist with stock control, ordering, and food storage as per military protocolsDeliver catering support across the site, including on the hot plate and live cooking stationsCarry out other reasonable tasks as directed by managementWhat you bring:Essential:Previous experience in a catering or food service role within a service industryRecognised catering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, BSc in Catering)Knowledge of food safety and health regulationsCIEH Level 2 in Food Safety or equivalentAttention to detail and ability to maintain high standards under pressureDesirable:Previous experience in a military or secure site environmentIOSH qualification or equivalentExperience in a customer-facing roleWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)What we offer:JoinSodexo for more than just a job—be part of something bigger.
