This role involves 24/7 operations, requiring strong leadership, logistical expertise, and commercial acumen to meet budgeted RAP demand across the region. The RAP Manager will develop and implement strategies to win and deliver planings work, optimise haulage, and foster close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive performance and innovation.The role of Recycled Asphalt Manager will also be responsible for:Strategic Planning and Coordination: Develop and agree on the RAP and Filler strategy with key stakeholders (Senior Operations Managers, CI Manager and Pave Directors). Produce and execute a logistics plan to meet both customer and Tarmac requirements. Continuously review supply and demand to adjust the strategy as requiredOperational Management: Assess and allocate the resources needed to deliver the planings recovery program and filler requirements to both internal and external market. Ensure the RAP Coordinators are effectively assigned to jobs for safe and efficient operations. Supervise out-of-hours work, ensuring proper action plans are in place for unplanned eventsDocumentation and Compliance: Ensure all required documentation, including Site Waste Management Plans is completed and returned correctly. Maintain compliance with SAP routines, ensuring prices, quotes, and job details are correctly implementedCollaboration and Communication: Maintain close communication with logistics/distribution teams to optimise internal haulage use including delivery of Internal Filler. Engage regularly with commercial teams to align on operational processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customersPerformance Monitoring: Track and report on KPIs, performance versus forecast, and budgetary targets.
