Are you a skilled Theatre Nurse (Band 6) looking for an exciting locum opportunity in Devon? We are seeking experienced professionals to provide high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment . This is your chance to make a real impact while enjoying great pay and flexibility!
Your Key Responsibilities
?? Provide expert assistance in the operating theatre across various specialities. ?? Ensure a sterile environment , following infection control protocols. ?? Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures. ?? Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery . ?? Handle surgical instruments, equipment, and materials with precision. ?? Offer support and reassurance to patients through the perioperative process. ?? Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies.
What You Need to Succeed
Registered Nurse (NMC Registered) with a valid PIN. Proven Theatre Nursing experience in a hospital setting (essential). Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and infection control . Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills . Ability to remain calm and focused in a high-pressure environment . Theatre Nursing qualification (desirable but not essential).
