Each room is different from the next, all en-suite with a monsoon shower and bags of character!This is a new role at The Village Pub. Reporting into our Pub Landlord, our Head Housekeeper will manage the turnaround of all rooms. This is a hands-on role, often working alone. At times, you will be required to lead the daily responsibilities of a Room Attendant or two, depending on bookings.Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Clean en-suite rooms, changing of linens & restocking larders.Ensure all furniture and furnishing are cleaned and maintained in excellent condition.Report any damage to The Pub Landlord.Support and guide the responsibilities of Room Attendants when on duty.Manage housekeeping stock & suppliesSkills & experience required: This role is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Head Housekeeper and/or Supervisor to progress into a stand-alone role, or someone seeking to work within a smaller, niche environment. A minimum of 3 years- experience in a housekeeping management or at a supervisor level is desirable.
