CB2 0AA and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation
About the Role
Catering Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including restaurants, cafés, and grab & go markets. Ensure all areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet Sodexo standards, while assisting in stock control and financial management.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and motivate a team of around 10 employees, ensuring proper training, coaching, and alignment with company policies. Actively manage employee performance, engagement, and succession planning.
Customer Service Excellence: Drive exceptional front-of-house customer service, enhance visitor experience, and ensure immaculate cleanliness and presentation across all areas of service.
Health, Safety & Compliance: Prioritize Health & Safety, including food safety, COSHH, and fire safety. Manage risk assessments, incident reporting, and safety briefings, and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders and clients, representing the catering team in operational discussions and ensuring client satisfaction through consistent performance and adherence to contractual KPIs.
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication skills with the ability to build long-term relationships with customers and clients at all levels.
Excellent organizational and planning abilities, adept at managing multiple workloads and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
Proven leadership experience in developing diverse teams and fostering a positive work culture within a catering environment.
Highly motivated to learn new procedures, systems, and techniques, with a hands-on approach to maintaining high standards and holding people accountable.
At least 3 years of experience managing catering operations, with proficiency in MS Office and a quick adaptability to new systems.
