As a Kitchen Assistant for Sodexo in Royal Stoke University Hospital, you will be a key part of the team. you’ll have an enthusiasm for food and a willingness to learn and develop your skills. You will champion exceptional standards of cleanliness within the kitchen and support our chefs in the delivery of nutritious meals.

What you’ll do:


Assist with food preparation working collaboratively with members of the kitchen team.
Serve and replenish food counters.
Support with cleaning and sanitising of equipment and workstations. 
Ensure that dishwash area and equipment is kept clean.
Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and replenishment.


What you bring: 


Previous kitchen experience
Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential if you are willing to learn.
Cheerful outlook, professionalism, and respect for others 
Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 8 hours) 
Willing to learn new skills e.g., Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety
