Standards are clear and ambition is high, aiming to consistently deliver the extra 5% to our guests.The role of Restaurant Floor Manager at THE PIG has a clear focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction. This is an opportunity to lead by example throughout the whole guest journey from welcome to goodbye. The role’s primary focus is to be on the floor hosting the room, ensuring smooth delivery of service, being observant to potential issues and addressing them positively and proactively with the guest experience in mind. Our restaurant team is diverse, with varied experience and abilities on display, our Floor Manager will play a vital role in, leading training and developing the team, communicating wider development needs to managers.As Floor Manager you will need to be passionate about delivering an exciting, educational and energetic pre-service brief to prepare the team; you will be creative with the ways you inspire your team to deliver the best guest experience every day.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Be visible on the restaurant floor, overseeing the running and efficiency of our restaurant service.Engaging with guests at every level and actively gaining feedback.Lead by example, setting an energetic pace and standard for the team.Encourage high standards of service by providing our team with fun, yet informative briefings.Carry out opening/closing procedures of the restaurant, including cashing up.Lead by example, train and develop the restaurant teams service skills.Maintain excellent knowledge of our menu’s, including local produce & suppliers.Create a ‘can do’ and positive atmosphere amongst the team.Resolving guest queries or concerns, identifying and addressing issues before they become complaints.Champion our 25-mile menu, having a true passion for providing high quality, fresh, local food to our guests.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working a busy restaurant with demonstrable experience of leading a team on the floor.
