adi Lean Manufacturing and Design - Mechanical Design Engineer
About the Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working with current engineering team designing jigs and fixtures, assembly benches and semi-automated & automated production cells.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
* Working for the lean manufacturing and design team; designing machinery for Automotive and Aerospace and any other Industry related to division provided services.
* Designing fixtures, jigs, assembly benches, semi-automated to fully automated machines to aid customers in manufacturing process.
* Issue manufacturing drawings and liaise with the workshop.
* Following up with manufacturing and ensuring correct interpolation of drawings and projects.
* Following up projects commissioning.
* Liaising with customers and building relationships.
* Checking and ensuring designs for all projects meet company standards.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* Experience using SolidWorks and PDM.
* Experience as a Design or Mechanical Engineer is required.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good time management skills
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to take ownership of tasks.
* A full UK Driving License
