Whether it’s saluting the sun in the morning with riverfront yoga or toasting the night with a magical cocktail we are building a playground for the senses!MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESOversee and manage the storage, handling, and distribution of all beverages across Fulham Pier’s venues, ensuring sufficient stock levels are always maintained.Monitor stock rotation to ensure that products are used in a timely manner and prevent wastage.Maintain and service all cellar and bar equipment, including beer pumps, coolers, and gas systems, ensuring they are in proper working order.Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate records of stock levels, liaising with suppliers for timely deliveries.Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices and delivery schedules where necessary.Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and health and safety standards, including hygiene practices and the safe handling of heavy items.Train bar staff on cellar and stock handling procedures, ensuring they understand proper stock management, equipment usage, and waste reduction practices.Perform regular checks on the quality of beverages, including tasting beer and wine, to ensure optimal freshness and taste.Maintain records of all cellar activities, including maintenance logs, stock deliveries, and health and safety checks.Coordinate with the bar teams to ensure efficient and smooth service, particularly during peak times and special events.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEYou will be an experienced Cellar Manager preferably within a hotel, large restaurant, or event venue. You will have strong knowledge of cellar equipment maintenance and stock control processes and the ability to manage stock levels efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
