What you’ll do:
Willing or already have (preferred) IOSH managing safely
Cover for absence in cleaning when required
Attend weekly meetings with client to discuss any planned, works and deal with issues as they arise
Oversee and take ownership of the onsite team personnel folders, ensuring legal compliance and compliance to Sodexo HR and H&S procedures
Oversee and collate H&S documentation both hard copy and on the shared drive. To include: fire; first aid; maintenance; pest management; Puwer inspections; Safety Walks; Electrical testing; Nestle service records; DSE;; PPE; Workplace inspections;
Oversee and maintain the Contractor Management file ensuring compliance to BAE and Sodexo procedures
Support with the review and updating of all annual policies and procedures, including risk assessments and safe systems of work, relating to waste management
Attend Training as and when required
Be responsible for oneself and others ensuring adherence to the site rules
Champion safety by reporting hazards, concerns and observations.
Be flexible with working days Mon – Friday when cover required or when contracted work is being arranged.
What you bring:
IOSH managing safely preferred (or willing to work towards)
Excellent understanding of COSHH requirements and experience in frontline cleaning.
Excellent customer service skills
Professional attitude and presentation at all times.
Good understanding of Health & Safety and safety focus
Understanding of recycling and sustainability
PC literate
Good planning and organisational skills
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
