This role will require applicants to undergo screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and/ or Disclosure Scotland.  What you’ll do:Support recruitment and HR procedures, including holidays, disciplinary procedures, and rotas.Delegate tasks to staff and ensure their proper completion.Assist with the organization and training of staff, including new starters.Plan works and schedules to ensure sufficient staffing while staying within budgetary guidelines.Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in the department.Create and maintain cleaning schedules to ensure equipment is well-maintained.Monitor staff performance and ensure work is carried out effectively. What you bring:Previous experience in managing staff.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to develop staffing rotas for large teams.Proactive and motivational approach.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations.Experience in implementing training programs and developing team members.Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.Effective communication skills with customers, clients, and colleagues.Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.Positive approach to learning and self-motivated.Proficient computer skills, including working with Excel spreadsheetsWhat we offer: £29,000 - £30,000 + Excellent benefits packageWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
