About You:
As a Registered Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our care teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support to our children and young people. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care homes and services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation. With a focus on a trauma-based approach, quality, safety, and person-centred care, you will work closely with our staff to create a supportive and positive environment for our children and young people.

The trauma-informed approach involves the ‘whole team’ relationship-based approach to support the young person to achieve improved emotional stability, and behavioural control, through the provision of a safe environment in which to explore, understand and develop improved resilience.
Early intervention, problem-solving, social skills, group living, and pro-social modelling form the daily ethos of the homes, which is based on respect, positive reinforcement and positive role modelling.
We see direct intervention with children and young people as having two main areas, firstly to address current issues of risk and harm, and secondly to address underlying vulnerability issues.
The aim of our Learning disability homes is to provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children. We care for children with a range of complex needs and social emotional mental health, as well as children with autism.
The home can support children with a range of additional needs and learning disabilities, including ASC, ADHD, communication differences and associated behavioural and medical needs. Each child has an individual, tailored care plan. These will highlight key areas of support for each child, focussing on their sensory, auditory, emotional and physical needs.

What will I do as the Registered Manager?
Responsible for all aspects of staff recruitment, effective deployment of staff/bank and Agency workers across the service, referrals, admissions and care practice.
Ensure the service delivers at a high level to meet the young people’s needs and can provide quantitative and qualitative data to evidence the outcomes achieved by young people.
