As part of our pre-opening team, we’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Shift Engineer to support our Engineering Supervisor and Director of Facilities and help keep the hotel running like clockwork. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our spaces are safe, smooth, and comfortable for both our guests and our people.About You and The RoleWe’re looking for an Engineering Supervisor who:Enjoys working in a dynamic, hands-on environment – especially during a hotel pre-openingHas experience in engineering or maintenance, ideally in hospitalityUnderstands core systems like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lifts, and fire safetyCan confidently troubleshoot and resolve technical issuesCommunicates clearly with people across the hotel, including suppliers and contractorsWorks well under pressure, prioritising and managing multiple tasksTakes pride in record keeping, safety checks, and complianceIs flexible to work shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis, weekends, and emergency callouts as neededHolds a relevant technical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) – preferred but not essentialWith more hotels planned within our wider portfolio, this is your chance to be at the forefront of a dynamic and expanding company.
