Right now, we are looking for a Specialist Refugee Integration Officer to play a pivotal role in our Complex Needs Service in London Aldgate,Sounds great, what will I be doing?This role coordinates a frontline service supporting refugees at risk of or experiencing homelessness across seven West London boroughs. It involves applying housing legislation to secure accommodation, sustain tenancies, and meet financial targets. The role requires case management, client engagement, partnership building, and developing co-produced plans to support integration. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.Here's what the team will be looking forYou will need to have the experience/knowledge of Housing and Homelessness legislation in relation to private rented housing and rough sleeping. Alongside this you will need to have previously sourced housing, negotiated with property owners, and be good at maintaining productive business relationships. You will need to understand welfare benefits and tenancy legislation as well.
