This is an opportunity to work for one of the UK Leading Contractors on the build of Sizewell C. Where you'll be supported to enable you progress your career within the business.
The Company
This organisation is one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the UK and provide specialist building, civil engineering, and rail expertise to a range of markets to provide a truly integrated service to clients. They possess proven experience and deliver successful projects in a wide range of industries, including commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, airports, waste, and energy. They will support both financially and through mentorship towards chartership and other relevant qualifications.
Key duties will include:
* Be responsible for Health and Safety for all on site and promote a "Safety first" culture
* Provide training and guidance on HSQE matters across the site
* To ensure timely close out of actions from audits, inspections, accidents and incidents.
* The monitoring and facilitating of compliance to the management system and the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 45001
About You
You will be an experienced Health and Safety professional within the Construction Sector. Experience at previous Energy construction projects, would be an advantage. The contractor is involved in the Sizewell C nuclear power station project, a large engineering and construction undertaking in Suffolk, UK. They are working on various aspects of the project, including trial holes and underground infrastructure assessments.
You'll hold your NEBOSH qualification.
