Business Manager - Band 8a - Children’s Business Unit.Are you a skilled leader who aspires for a rewarding role supporting our Children’s Business Unit? Then our Business Manager role could be for you. We are looking for 12-month fixed term maternity leave cover, starting around September 2025.As a provider of a diverse range of NHS community services, LCH is a key player in the Leeds health and care system and West Yorkshire Integrated Care System. Within LCH the Children’s Business Unit provides a portfolio of specialist children’s services which includes CYPMHS, ICAN, Children’s Community Nursing, SLT, 0-19 including School Imms and Infant Mental Health. LCH has an evolving role working with partners in primary and secondary care, social care and the third sector to develop our service offer in response to national guidance and the changing commissioner landscape.The Business Manager role is part of our Business, Change and Improvement Service (BCIS), which is a network of skilled and experienced project managers and change agents. Uniquely the role is also part of the Children’s Business Unit senior leadership team and will work in a matrix way, to ensure business expertise is used to support the services to be as effective and efficient as possible. The role works closely with LCH’s Head of Business, who provides line management support, CBU General Manager and the Adult and Specialist Business Managers.The Business Manager role is an important and diverse one, no two days are the same! This role would suit an individual from a range of professional backgrounds including performance, contracting, project management, business development, service development, quality improvement, partnership working and/ or operational management.
