Right now, we are looking for an Administrator to play a pivotal role in our Domestic Abuse Service in NewhamSounds great, what will I be doing?The role involves managing incoming referrals to Hestia's Newham services, including reviewing referral information, liaising with referrers for any missing details, and inputting client data into the case management system. The postholder ensures referrals are processed efficiently and that clients are allocated to the appropriate teams, particularly prioritising those assessed as high risk. In addition to referral processing, the role includes responding to enquiries via phone and email, providing one-off or short-term support to survivors through listening, information sharing, and basic safety advice. The person in this position works closely with team members to maintain consistent phone coverage and supports the wider team as needed. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate records in line with Hestia's procedures, supporting the development of administrative processes, and collaborating with external agencies to stay informed about available local resources. The candidate should be skilled in handling sensitive information professionally and have experience advising survivors of domestic abuse. Familiarity with MARAC processes is desirable. Key skills include strong planning and organisational abilities, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent written and verbal communication.
