Payroll Officer | Hybrid | Nottingham | £30,000 per annumAre you a detail-oriented payroll professional ready to take the next step in your career? Join our fast-paced Finance team as a Payroll Officer and help ensure accurate and timely payroll for our dedicated employees.Location: Nottingham NG1 (Hybrid – 3 flexible office days per week)Hours:Monday to Friday, 08:30am–16:30pm (30-min lunch break)What You’ll Be Doing:Processing monthly and weekly payrolls end-to-endManaging electronic timekeeping and accurate pay distributionReconciling timesheets, calculating holiday pay, and maintaining employee payroll recordsHandling statutory payments, pensions, student loans, tax codes, and holiday accrualsInvestigating and resolving payroll issuesLiaising with HR on employee changes and supporting compliance reporting (ONS, NMW audits)What We’re Looking For:Prior experience in a payroll role (weekly and monthly cycles)Familiarity with payroll systems (Select Pay and/or People Planner preferred)Confident with manual calculations and data accuracyExcellent attention to detail and time management skillsStrong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindsetAwareness of payroll regulations, data protection, and audit processesCIPP qualification is a plus, but not essentialWhy Join Us?Be part of a collaborative and supportive Finance teamHybrid working with flexible in-office daysOpportunities for process improvement and personal growthWork in a role that truly matters to every employeeMore about Acuity Care Group:We have been around for nearly 20 years so we know our stuff!
