Then please read on………We are currently looking for anOperativeat out Packed Products plant in Linford, Stanford - le Hope.As the successful Operative, you will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for undertaking all site duties safely, understanding CRH and SHE safety. You will also be working in different areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch and housekeeping.Tarmac is the UK’s leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business. Our innovative products and solutions not only deliver the infrastructure needed to grow the UK economy today but also help to create a more sustainable built environment for the country’s long-term future.Main ResponsibilitiesOn a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Operative will include (not exhaustive):Meeting daily production target requirements.Reporting of data for quality purposes.Moving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehiclesMeeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaroundContinuous Improvement of performance standardsContinuous improvement towards plant and production methodsGood housekeepingThe Ideal CandidateAs our ideal Operative, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production & despatch environment. You will also:Possess good communication skills and be numerateBe a proficient communicatorBe a good team playerHave experience of manual handlingFLT licence desirableThe role is based at our Linford Packed plant which is located close to Stanford-le-Hope in Essex. This role is commutable from Barking, Dagenham, East Ham, Rainham, Plaistow, Woolwich, Abbey Wood, Greenwich, Belvedere, Poplar, Stratford, Forest Gate, Greenwich, Deptford, Welling, Sidcup, Erith, Bexley, Bexley Heath, Dartford, Hornchurch, South Ockenden or the surrounding areas.At Tarmac, ‘who you are’ matters.
