Are you an experienced and dynamic Operative looking for your next position?We are looking for a Depot Operative to join our friendly team at out Packed Products Depot in Inverness. As the successful Depot Operative you will report to the Site Manager, undertaking all site duties safely, understanding CRH and SHE safety. You will be responsible for driving a forklift truck and learning all required aspects of the operation to meet company and customer requirements, playing an active role in achieving compliance with our quality, environment and safety accreditations.Main ResponsibilitiesOn a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Depot Operative will include (not exhaustive):Meeting daily production target requirementsMoving, loading and unloading products from the plant and vehiclesMeeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaroundStock rotation alongside maintaining stock levels to maintain demandMaintenance and daily checks of mobile plantMaintaining housekeeping standardsWorking on the continuous improvement of performance standardsThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Depot Operative will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production and despatch environment, alongside:IOSH or other safety qualification or relevant experienceForklift Truck LicenceFull driving licencePrevious experience of working in a high-volume cement plant would be desirableMobile plant experience essentialThe role is based at our Packed Products depot in Inverness.
