What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Reablement Occupational Therapist and become a pivotal part of a service that helps individuals regain independence following illness, injury, loss of confidence, or hospital admission. In this role, you will:
* Perform strengths-based assessments with clients in their own homes
* Design and implement personalised and creative reablement plans
* Support individuals in achieving independence and improved well-being
* Collaborate with OT assistants, support workers, and a Principal OT
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current and valid HCPC registration
* A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
* Experience in reablement or community-based care is highly desirable
* A valid UK driver's licence (essential for community visits)
* Excellent communication, assessment, and planning skills
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This flexible locum position requires availability from Monday to Friday . The contract is ongoing, with strong potential for extension based on service needs and performance.
