We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Analyst with proven Extreme Networks expertise to join our dynamic team, successful candidates will be based onsite at clients throughout South-West London as well as the West End.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing, managing, and optimizing network performance to ensure seamless and secure connectivity across all our client’s operations. This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive approach to network management.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor network performance and ensure optimal network operation.
* Analyse network traffic patterns to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
* Provide on-site customer support
* Develop and implement network optimization strategies.
* Perform regular network security assessments and mitigate potential risks.
* Configure and maintain network hardware and software components.
* Collaborate with IT colleagues to design and deploy network infrastructure projects.
* Provide technical support and troubleshoot network-related issues on an ongoing basis.
* Create and maintain detailed network documentation and reports.
* Stay updated with the latest network technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Network Analyst or similar role.
* In depth experience with Extreme Networks hardware and software.
* Strong knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
* Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
* Familiarity with network security best practices and tools.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+).
* Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies.
* Experience in scripting and automation for network management.
Working Conditions
* Full-time on-site position (this is not a hybrid or working from home position) with occasional on-call requirements (this is payable as a bonus).
