What You'll Do:
* Be the Go-To Expert: Provide top-notch advice and guidance to our on-site teams on all things environmental across three bustling construction sites.
* Champion Sustainability: Craft and maintain local environmental management and sustainability plans that make a real difference.
* Lead by Example: Ensure we're always compliant with environmental legislation while coaching our teams on the best controls and mitigation measures.
* Build Strong Connections: Forge and nurture strong relationships with regulators, clients, and subcontractors, making sure everyone's on the same page.
* Be the Problem Solver: Investigate and report any environmental incidents to our Environment & Sustainability Project Partner, ensuring swift and effective action.
What We're Looking For:
* Experienced Professional: You've got a solid background in environmental management, ideally within construction or related sectors. Knowledge of environmental legislation, ecology, and groundwork is a big plus!
* Proactive & Driven: You're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ready to tackle challenges head-on and deliver real environmental benefits.
* Great Communicator: Your excellent communication skills help you engage with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear advice on environmental strategy and best practices.
