We are proud of all we achieve in the ICAN service & to fulfil our vision we are recruiting a part-time Band 7 ICAN Lead for Nursing. (22.5 hours/week over 3 days including Thursday & Friday).It is an exciting time for ICAN as we continue to develop our services for children, young people & their families. Enthusiasm for nursing and high-quality care delivery, as well as leadership and teamwork are key attributes of the successful candidate. Experience & understanding of community care provision for children with additional needs & their families is required.Access to a car in order to travel independently across the city is required as ICAN covers 3 bases across the city.Interviews will be face to face in Leeds.We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking registered nurse with excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills and ability to motivate and support others through change and service development.Experience in triage of referrals & clinical decision-making will support key responsibilities of this post, as well as leadership of our nursing team, pathways and interventions. The post has clinical care elements & so experience in supporting carers with self-management of their children’s continence, sleep & feeding challenges is required.Excellent IT skills & knowledge of clinical systems including SystmOne, Healthroster & Datix will support our successful candidate in their day-to-day work.
