What is the job role?We are looking for a Business Intelligence and Insights Analyst to join the Performance and Insights Team with your initial focus being on supporting Children Social Care Services working within a very busy, innovative, forward-thinking team. We are working together with Children Services to bring positive change in the lives of people in the city.   The BI and Insights Analyst role will be to:Take a lead on specific intelligence performance reporting and insights.  To support the council to better understand its data through enabling data linkages, modelling and visualisation.  You will work closely with relevant services to provide intelligence and insight to make decisions to improve and strengthen their performance.The role will also include working across the Planning and Informatics Team on different projects.Who are we looking for?The successful candidate will have;Knowledge of reporting and data systemsknowledge of performance and reporting frameworksAbility to analyse and interpret complex issues and exercise critical judgement in arriving at practical solutionsPartnership working skillsInterpersonal and influencing skillsExcellent IT Skills (Power BI, SQL)You will be asked to write a personal statement when applying for this role.
