We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team as a Red Neighbours Coordinator.In this role you will work with the Red Neighbours and Volunteer Manager to ensure that the Red Neighbours programme and partnerships in areas surrounding our Anfield, Kirkby and Melwood homes continue to organically grow with in line with the community needs.The work we do is so much more than the physical activity session. Relationships and social interactions are vital to all delivery with sessions extended to accommodate this.What will you be doing?Working alongside the Community Delivery Manager ensure that the Red Neighbours priority areas remain key focus of delivery:Food Poverty and EducationSocial IsolationPhysically Active Community(for older people)Creating Memorable Experiences for Young People.Manage existing delivery partnerships and nurture new ones.Ensure quality, safety and safeguarding standards are achieved and maintained.Work closely with local stakeholders to meet needs.Engage with hard-to-reach groups within diverse and deprived communities.Help increase engagement of marginalized groups across all programmes.Ensure effective collection of all monitoring and evaluation data.Record data on LFC Foundation databases.Ensure case studies and PR opportunities are regularly undertaken in line with Club and Foundation guidelines.Provide an inclusive environment following our Red Together Strategy.Provide content for Red Neighbours and LFC Foundation social media.Who are we looking for?To be successful in this role you will have previous experience delivering multi sports and/or PE sports sessions, including relevant qualifications in designing and facilitating physical activities, for example walking netball, chair-based exercise and/or football coaching. You must have previous experience of delivering initiatives to improve physical activity and reduce social isolation, including experience of delivering to diverse and deprived communities. You’ll be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of how to reduce social isolation.You will have experience working in partnership in a community setting with charities, voluntary organisations and other stakeholders and be proficient in organising community-based events.You’ll have network of contacts that can support initiatives and have the ability to showcase excellent administrative skills to support, registering new participants and completing registers, reporting health and safety occurrences and documenting safeguarding concerns.Why should you apply?This is a full-time permanent role working35 hours per week.
