We have an exciting opportunity here at ourTarmac Leeds - Dry Silo Mortar Plant.We are currently looking for anOperativeto join their team.Have you got what it takes to stand out?Can you demonstrate previous experience working within an Industrial, Factory or similar environment?Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Main ResponsibilitiesReporting in to our Plant Supervisor, the successful Operativewill be responsible for actively participating and taking ownership of activities to ensure plant safety, plant availability, production output and quality.You will also take responsibility for:Meeting daily production target requirements.Reporting of data for quality purposes.Moving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehiclesMeeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround.Continuous Improvement of performance standardsContinuous improvement towards plant and production methodsGood housekeepingThe role requires you to work on the shift pattern of5am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm, due to the shift pattern and location of the role it is essential that you have your own transport.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience working within an Industrial, Factory or similar environment as a Fork Lift Truck Operative, Multi-Skilled Operative or Labourer.
