Main ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Customer Services Manager the Customer Service Coordinatorwill be responsible for processing orders and coordinating the day-to-day deliveries of Minimix ReadyMix concrete by vehicles owned and operated by Tarmac third party haulage base.Responsibilities for this role of Customer Service Coordinatorwill include:Engaging with customers to receive and process Minimix ReadyMix concrete ordersScheduling delivery times in line with customer expectations Working alongside the distribution team and the wider area transport team to provide a cost effective, sustainable, safe and customer focused transport operation for the businessManagement of compliance and legal requirements both from a statutory, industry and Tarmac perspective ensuring all contract and/or third-party hauliers are operating to Tarmac standards, practices, and proceduresStrategically planning and building relationships with Third Party haulage suppliers through contract negotiationWorking with the Logistics and Production Managers to provide a medium to long term plan to meet demandsThis role is a Monday - Friday role on a rotating shift pattern (7am – 4pm and 8am - 5pm) and Saturday mornings when required (approx once per month)The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Customer Service Coordinatorwill have worked in a similar industry providing support to a wider team. Whilst industry experience is preferred it is not essential.
