Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting an Electrical Supervisor to supervise the site team for the electrical scope of works for the BOP Cabling scope of works on a new build waste to energy plant in Irvine, Scotland.
The Electrical Supervisor position comes with an hourly rate from �42.00 to �46.00 per hour.
Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation activities related to BOP systems, including but not limited to:

Power distribution
*
Instrumentation and control cabling
*
Earthing and bonding
*
Lighting and small power systems (non-process areas)
*
Ensure cabling works comply with project drawings, specifications, and BS7671 wiring regulations.
*
Interface with the main contractor, client representatives, and other sub-contractors to coordinate work scopes.
*
Supervise and direct electricians and cable pulling teams on-site.
*
Ensure materials, tools, and resources are available to meet installation timelines.
*
Conduct inspections and tests of electrical installations; raise and close out punch list/snag items.
*
Maintain up-to-date site records including progress reports, as-builts, and QA documentation.
*
Promote and enforce strict adherence to site health & safety practices (RAMS, permits to work, toolbox talks).
*
Report regularly to the Project Manager or Site Manager on progress and any issues affecting schedule or quality.
