We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Reablement Team based in Keynsham.The Reablement Service is a short-term service which supports patients, either in their own home or in Residential or Nursing Homes, aiming to maximise and maintain independence through the provision of rehabilitation and support. This is a highly rewarding role for a dedcited and motivated physiotherapist.You will join a supportive and multi-disciplinary team consisting of Reablement Therapy Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistant Practitioners, Care Co-Ordinators and Administrative support. The team also works closely with local GP’s and other community services such as District Nurses and Social Workers.This role will involve travel so will require a Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle for work purposes.This is a full-time position (37.5 hours a week) based in Keynsham. The service hours are 8.00 until 22.00 but Core hours for Therapists are typically 8.30-16.30 with 8.30-18.00 and 8.30-14.30 once weekly.The service is a seven-day a week service, and all staff are expected to work weekends and bank holidays within a team rota. This will involve contributing to the smooth day to day management of the team, data gathering, analysis, recording and reporting, interpreting and recommended further courses of action.Resolve varied problems using advanced analytical /problem solving techniques to understand the causes.Be accountable for day to day people management of the team, contributing to longer term planning, performance, coordination and development of staff.Use good communication skills to work with and share information across professional and organisational boundaries.Please see the attached job description for a full list of job responsibilities.The Ideal CandidateYou must hold a Degree in Physiotherapy.You will be a Registered Physiotherapist with HCPC.You will hold a Full UK Driver’s License and have access to a car/vehicle.We’re looking for someone who is motivating, innovative and adaptable who can ensure the delivery of positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
