The Sales Manager (Trade Success) will be a key point of contact for our travel agent partners. Working directly with marketing, contact center, operations and more, your solution focused mindset will create processes and solutions that ensures Titan Travel has a positive reputation resulting in an industry leading trade NPS score. The Sales Manager (Trade Success will also lead a talented field team of three Training & Development Executives who will be responsible for ensuring our travel agent partners are educated and motivated to sell Titan Travel. The field team will be accountable for the performance of their accounts within their region as well as driving important business KPI’s including online usage, product mix, ASP and more.Package DescriptionEveryday our colleagues deliver exceptional experiences to our customers. We believe exceptional work deserves even more exceptional rewards, that's why we have put together an amazing benefits package for all colleagues.BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL COLLEAGUES:25 days holiday + bank holidaysOption to purchase additional leave up to 5 extra daysPension scheme matched up to 10%Company performance related annual bonus - Up to 5%Life assurance policy on joining usWellbeing programmeColleague discounts including family discounts on cruises and holidaysRange of reductions and offers from leading retailers, travel groups and entertainment companiesEnhanced maternity and paternity leaveGrandparents leaveIncome protectionAccess to Saga Academy, our bespoke learning platformMain ResponsibilitiesAccount Management – Excellence Every day. Act as an ambassador for Titan Travel and demonstrate an exceptional level of product / sector knowledge ensuring the brand has an extremely high profile. Create, implement and own the field team strategy, ensuring the team have the tools they need to be successful, ensuring the right amount of time is dedicated to strategic accounts Manage the trade inbox and identify key training needs and opportunities to improve our processes. Collaborate with the trade contact centre team to ensure a timely response to all trade enquiries. Collaborate with operations team to review outstanding cases and ensure we have plans in place to effectively communicate with the travel agent partner. Identify trade partner training needs and create a plan to address them. Own the relationship of key training partners such as Tipto, ATAS & Travel Gossip to enable our roadshow strategy. Drive participation in Titan Rewards to drive upsell and focus on business priorities. Help develop training plans alongside Strategic & Business Development Sales Managers. Work with the Director of Trade Engagement to prepare and host successful customer educational trips Maximise engagement with TITANium & trade communication sign ups. Strategic Planning – Make It Happen Arrange and attend frequent meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure Titan Travel is flawless to do business with. Set targets and timelines for process improvements, owning a quarterly development plan. Analyse field teams weekly, monthly and quarterly account activity and performance, spotting opportunities to improve performance and put in place tangible, measurable action plans that drive results. Develop trade campaign engagement plans including incentives. Monitor and report on competitor activity in the touring and wider holiday sectors to ensure Titan Travel remains at the forefront of our sector. Flawless Execution – Do the Right Thing / Customer First Deliver on your promises and be the most trust partner to your accounts. Ensure that agreed sales and marketing activity is implemented, tracked and monitored to assess ROI. • If it goes wrong, own it and put it right. Structure workload effectively to ensure maximum time with accounts and all administration and support activities are completed effectively and to time. Team Leadership – Our People Make Us Special As the Sales Manager (Inside & Field Sales) you will lead the field team of three Training & Development Executives You will work closely with the wider sales team to ensure their path is clear to deliver our stretching revenue goals. You will ensure the trade sales team is well supported and has the tools they need to be successful.The Ideal Candidate5+ years in a trade sales or account management roles People leadership positions Sales roles Travel industry roles Travel Agency experience an advantage Experience in defining strategy Exceptional people management skills, particularly in a flexible/hybrid working environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly form relationships Sales driven and commercially savvy An eye for identifying commercial opportunities, and the skills to translate this into results Ability to partner with other stakeholders and challenge where necessary Innovative thinker constantly looking to improve ways of working Engaging and inspiring individual, influencing internal and external stakeholders at all levels Cost focused, with ability to manage multiple budget lineAbout The CompanyOver the past 70 years we have become the UK's specialist provider of products and services to people aged over 50 in the UK.
