About us:
It's inevitable that all of us are going to deal with death at some time in our lives. It’s a fundamental part of what it is to be human. But the services that should be supporting us haven’t changed in decades. From writing your will to planning a funeral or organising probate, the way we deal with death can be complicated and expensive. Instead of feeling supported, people feel lost.
But it doesn’t need to be this way. We started Farewill to make the experience warmer, brighter, and friendlier. Now we’re the UK’s top rated probate provider, and help our customers pledge over £300 million a year to charities through gifts left in their wills.
We’ve also joined the Dignity Group - one of the major providers of funeral services in the UK. Together, we’re on a mission to change the way the world deals with death. It’s no small task - and we’re looking for a Probate Sales Team Lead to help us do it.
The role:
We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven leader to build, maintain, and drive our Probate Sales Team to achieve and exceed revenue targets, contributing to the continued growth of our probate business. In this role, you will oversee the sales team’s performance, foster their development, and refine our sales approach, ensuring both business growth and customer satisfaction.
Probate is the legal process you need to go through to deal with someone’s estate when they die. It’s a daunting task that we strive to make simpler, faster and more affordable than traditional providers. Part of how we do that is through building a fantastic team of people who are legally savvy, commercially minded and motivated by compassionately helping people through enormously difficult challenges.
Key responsibilities:

Achieve quarterly revenue targets and ensure ongoing growth in our Probate business.
Train, mentor, and develop sales team members through regular performance meetings and call coaching.
Apply and leverage effective sales methodologies to continuously improve our selling strategy.
Prepare and report performance data to the sales team and senior/executive management
Support a sales process that delivers great outcomes for our customers.
Contribute to quarterly OKRs and provide updates to senior management on performance and goal alignment.
Drive employee engagement in our Probate Sales team.

What we are looking for:

Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Strong focus on achieving revenue targets and performance objectives.
Skilled at using data and sales metrics to make informed decisions and track performance.
Strong ability to report effectively to both your team and senior leadership, providing clear updates and insights.
Experience in call coaching and performance feedback to help team members improve their skills..
A commitment to ensuring that the sales process benefits both the business and the customer.

What We Offer:

Annual salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus up to 30%.
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays.
BUPA Healthcare (Self).
X2 Life Assurance.
Pension Scheme.
Hybrid flexible working (3 days in our Maidenhead office).
Genuine career progression and mentorship opportunities.
