Support them to be themselves and encourage their comfort whilst being respectful of their living space.Take part in Arts, crafts and stimulating activities. Helping customers to get washed and dressed.Providing manual handling support and personal care.Providing medication support in a timely manner.Liaise with health professionals.Reporting any concerns or incidents to senior members of the team.Arranging and taking part in activities with members of the community.20 hours per week (consisting of x2, 10 hours per night).For a further discussion or information about this role, please email: cheryl.ramsay@westnorthants.gov.uk About youAs a senior carer you will have a NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (ideal) or bring similar experience. You'll join our team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.At minimum we offer 2.5 weeks induction training and a further 2-4 weeks "Buddy scheme" too. We will settle you in, gradually.This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost.
