Job DescriptionHealthy outcomes start with positive patient experiences.40 Hours / 5 over 7 daysCompetitive SalaryHolidaysLocation is Royal Stoke HospitalCheck your local transport links here: Plan Your Journey | Traveline - the destination you should input is: ST4 6QGPlease take the time to read the attached job descriptionJob IntroductionHealthy outcomes begin with great patient experiences.As a Monitoring Officer at Royal Stoke Hospital, you will collaborate closely with the Quality Manager and service managers to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues, addressing system gaps to maintain high-quality business management data.It also includes providing IT support for Soft FM service systems and handling information analysis, developing action plans, and producing performance reports.What you’ll do:Conduct internal audits for Hard and Soft FM to ensure compliance with statutory, mandatory, and contractual obligations across both sites.Develop and review annual monitoring schedules, documentation, and audit reporting using IT tools.Manage survey distribution, analyse results, and produce statistical and qualitative performance reports.Oversee monitoring and performance procedures, ensuring adherence to contractual and service standards.Support service teams and managers, promoting continuous quality checks to reduce service failures and penalties.Maintain health, safety, and welfare for self and others, in line with company policies.Attend meetings, participate in training, and foster positive working relationships with staff and customers.Carry out additional duties as directed by the line manager.What you bring:A-level education or equivalent, with experience or knowledge in performance/statistical analysis.Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and willingness to learn systems like Maximo, ECAT, CARPS and TRACZO.Experience in ISO auditing, report writing, and communicating compliance to non-commercial audiences.Ability to recommend and influence service improvements.Excellent customer service, good communication skills and complaint handling skills.Committed to personal development.What we offer:Working at Sodexo isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to make a difference every day.
