Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:
Test Facilities Engineer - Automotive - £27.21/hr (Inside IR35) - Coventry/Midlands - 12 Months (potential for yearly renewal)
In this role you will work within the Cross Functional Test Facilities across various Midlands sites (Coventry, Warwickshire), supporting Engineering Operations activities. The purpose of the role is to ensure the safe, smooth, efficient and effective operation of the Engineering Operations Test Facilities used for Product Development. You will be required to demonstrate safe working practices throughout in line with the Company's 'Destination Zero' policies and you will understand the responsibility you owe to yourself and to others in the workplace.
Primary Skills Required:
- A Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience.
- Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment and leading technologies (eg. Experienced in problem solving control systems)
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
Additional Experience Preferred:
- Technical expertise and experience of test facilities and control systems for AVL, ABB and Horiba.
- Knowledge of Fuels
- Experience with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 standards and requirements.
- Problem solving Qualification.
- Knowledge of company Health and Safety requirements, Risk Assessments, COSHH and SDS.
- Knowledge of fluid controls, Ventilation systems, Chilled fluids.
Experience Required:
- Prior Automotive facilities engineering experience related to a test environment
- A Level 4 qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience.
- Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English, Maths and Science
- Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment and leading technologies.
- Experienced in problem solving control systems.
- Clear and confident communicator both orally and in writing
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style
- Ability to follow written and spoken instruction and interface well with customers
- Ability to work quickly and pay attention to detail
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office.
- A full UK driving license.

This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
