Introduction:As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role
in keeping the site running smoothly. You'll be responsible for supporting the
accurate and timely financial administration of the Mess, including billing,
debtor/creditor management, and customer service.What You'll Do:Responsibilities:Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using internal systemsProduce and issue monthly mess bills on timeAllocate and reconcile Direct Debits and cash paymentsMaintain debtor and creditor ledgers to support effective cash flowRespond to mess member queries promptly and professionallyMaintain accurate mess membership lists (joiners, leavers) import EPOS sales, monthly charges, and function chargesManage private function billing (quotes, invoices, payment links) and process related formsEnsure secure storage and banking of cash/cheques in line with proceduresGenerate and send reports to stakeholders and clientsExperience
Required:Minimum AAT Level 2 QualificationPrevious experience in transactional finance or accounts supportExcellent literacy and numeracyStrong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and OutlookHigh attention to detail and accuracy in data entryWhat we
