As our Asbestos and H&S Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing asbestos safety at the Port. You'll be the appointed person for asbestos, preparing and maintaining the Asbestos Management Plan, planning and managing surveys and inspections, and overseeing licensed asbestos removal contractors. Your technical oversight of project works will ensure smooth delivery while you promote health and safety initiatives across our operations. By providing training and reviewing RAMS, you become the backbone of our health and safety efforts, making a tangible impact every day.
Hours of Work: Full-time position
Asbestos and H&S Supervisor Requirements:
* Technical, construction, building or trade background
* Qualified in P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings
* Relevant H&S management qualification (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS)
* Conversant with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012
* Understanding of Risk Management and compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards
