We are recruiting for a Catering Manager to work at George Watson\'s College.Location: EH10 5EGShift Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:00-16:00, Term time onlySalary: £40,452 per annum (49 paid weeks)Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a catering team of 35 staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and high morale across all service areas.Oversee the delivery of up to 1,000 meals per day, maintaining efficiency and quality during breakfast, morning break, lunch, and afternoon service.Ensure full compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations, conducting regular checks and staff training to maintain high standards.Collaborate with nutritionists and educational staff to develop balanced, age-appropriate menus catering to children from nursery to senior school.Monitor food production and service standards, maintaining consistency and quality across all mealtimes and adapting to special dietary needs.Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective procurement while supporting fresh and nutritious meal options.PVG check is essentialWhat\'s in it for you?Working with Inspire Catering has its perks!
