Shirley Parsons is excited to partner with a leading family-run construction contractor, based out of Portsmouth. Our client is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to carry out inspections and audits across various sites in the Portsmouth region, with ocassional travel to London. This role would suit candidates with 2+ years' Health and Safety experience within the construction sector. Due to the nature of the works, experience around lifting operations, temporary works and working at heights would be beneficial. If you are looking for growth and development within a hands-on role, this is a great opportunity to gain further exposure and progression.
The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Carrying out site inspections and audits
- Liaising with the Health and Safety Manager and key stakeholders
- Working within the office and site locations
The Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- Experience working in a construction environment
- NEBOSH General at minimum, ideally NEBOSH Construction
- Solution-based attitude and committed approach
- Full working rights in the UK
*There is no home-working in this role.
