Astute’s Power team is partnering with a large-scale European Engineering and Construction company to recruit as Night Shift Manager through the night shift to oversee the Mechanical works on a 2-3 month contract for its Scotland site.
The Night Shift Manager role comes with a rate of �600-�750 per day.
Key skills:

Lead and supervise all mechanical construction activities on site during the night shift.
*
Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards at all times.
*
Coordinate with subcontractors and site supervisors to manage workflow, resolve issues, and ensure progress against schedule.
*
Monitor installation of mechanical equipment, piping systems, conveyors, boilers, and pressure parts specific to EfW technology.
*
Review and interpret mechanical drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
*
Conduct nightly toolbox talks, inspections, and shift handovers.
*
Report any incidents, delays, or non-conformances to the Day Shift Manager and Project Team.
*
Maintain accurate shift records, progress updates, and HSE documentation.
*
Ensure plant and equipment are operated safely and maintained correctly.

* Outside IR35
