Would you like the chance to make a difference?We are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our friendly team at Tarmac ‘Hub’ in Mountsorrel, Quorn, near to Loughborough, Leicestershire working on a part time basis. This is a great opportunity to join a successful Customer Service team engaging with customers via telephone and email to ensure orders are progressed speedily. Working 8 hrs per day Monday and Tuesday - the shift patterns are between 8am – 5.30pm (8am-5pm or 8.30am-5.30pm). Then 4 hours on Wednesday morning (8am-12pm). You will also work occasional Saturday morning on a rota basis (1 in 8).As well as Loughborough this role is easily accessible from Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Barrow upon Soar, Syston, Shepshed, Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Ibstock, Swadlincote, Measham, Tamworth, Atherstone, Hinkley, Nottingham, Derby, Long Eaton, Kegworth, Burton upon Trent and the surrounding areas.At Tarmac, ‘who you are’ matters. If you share our values and are proud of a job well done, collaborative in working well with others and ambitious to make things better, then have a read of what we have on offer.Main ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the role of Customer Service Coordinator will work cross-functionally within our Customer Service Team and be the initial point of contact for our customers.Your role as a Customer Service Coordinator will include:Responsibility for customer enquiries via telephone, online and email orders from initial contact through to deliveryProviding customers with an excellent customer service experience ensuring high level of customer care and attention at all timesClear communication, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholdersCompleting data entry and order processing tasksCollaborating within the team and other stakeholders to clarify facts, exchange information, support colleagues and resolve queriesInputting accurate customer data into the CRM systemBuilding relationships with the key stakeholders in the account baseWorking closely with the Fleet and Capacity planners to ascertain transport and material availabilityEnsuring customers are kept informed at all times allowing us to plan our transport fleet to meet relevant commercial demandsThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Customer Service Coordinator will have experience gained within a similar role, engaging with stakeholders.
