What You'll Be Doing:
Join our NHS client's team as a Pharmacy Technician and support a busy NHS Outpatient Hospital Pharmacy . In this role, you will:
- Dispense and label medications in accordance with hospital protocols - Support pharmacists in preparing and issuing prescriptions - Assist in maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies - Liaise with patients and clinical staff regarding medication queries - Contribute to a safe, effective and efficient outpatient dispensary service
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification - Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician - Previous experience in a hospital or busy community setting - Excellent organisational and communication skills - A team-oriented and proactive approach to service delivery
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time locum position , Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
The contract is initially for 2 months , with a strong possibility of extension depending on performance and service needs.
