What is the job role?We are looking for a Business Intelligence and Insights Manager to join the Performance and Insights Team. Your focus will be on supporting Adult Social Care within a very busy, innovative, forward-thinking team. The BI and Insights Manager role will be to:Lead on delivering Adult Services insight by extracting information from our data systems, interpreting data, and using it to drive business decisions and actions.Be responsible for making valuable data accessible to colleagues and stakeholders, assisting the organisation in data-driven decision-making.Oversee the collection and interpretation of performance data by working with stakeholders to articulate performance objectives and success indicators and create appropriate dashboards and performance reporting to support the delivery of high performance.Develop strategies and methods for data collection, analysis, and reporting.Deliver statutory returns, support CQC Inspections and any other submissions, accurately and on time This is a temporary post for 15 months to cover maternity leave.Who are we looking for?To be successful in this role you will;Have the ability to lead and develop a team of analysts.Have the ability to work with and business partner cross-functional teams to gather and interpret business requirements, managing high levels of expectation to deliver projects to tight timescales.Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights and research to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience and competency across a range of analytical tools such as Power BI, SQLPrevious working experience in a Local Authority (Adult Social Care would be preferable) and in a Business Intelligence Manager or similar role Within our team, women and people from a global majority background are currently under-represented across our middle-management team, as a result we would like to encourage women and people from global majority backgrounds to apply for this post.
