Business Development Manager – Product SalesLocation: National (UK)Company: Lloyds BritishSector: Industrial (TIC Industry)Overview of the Role:Lloyds British is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager – Product Sales to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing sales for our industrial product range. This is a national role, offering the flexibility of remote working with travel to client sites.Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities for industrial products, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, and clients.Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.Close business deals, ensuring the delivery of mutually beneficial outcomes for both Lloyds British and clients.Analyse market trends and competitor activities, identifying key growth opportunities. Develop strategic partnerships to enhance product reach and sales performance.Work closely with technical teams to provide tailored solutions for clients, ensuring their specific needs are met.Track and analyse sales performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of sales objectives.Prepare and present detailed reports on business development progress to senior management.Technical Skills & Experience Required:A strong understanding of industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, and B2B sales.Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the industrial products sector.Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive results.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.A demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and partnerships.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to generate accurate reports and analyses.Working Hours and Benefits:Hours: 37.5 hours per week, inclusive of the 9-day fortnight scheme under our Speedy Work Life Balance initiative, offering an excellent work-life balance.Location: This is a national role, offering flexibility in terms of remote working with occasional travel as required to visit clients and attend business meetings.Why Lloyds British?At Lloyds British, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
