Working alongside the Quality Assurance Inspection & Regulation Director, Group Head Regulatory Quality Compliance and Policy, and Group Improvement & Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance inspections, ensuring adherence to regulatory quality compliance standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain policies that support both operational excellence and compliance with industry regulations. Your understanding of quality assurance, regulatory standards, and process improvement will be critical to maintaining the highest level of product and service quality, while fostering a culture of continuous development and efficiency within the organization.

Job Overview
Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance, Inspection & Regulation Director to implement robust monitoring and governance systems, ensuring that quality metrics are regularly reviewed, and accurate information is consistently provided as directed.
Take responsibility for managing the whistleblowing tracker, maintaining thorough records, and delivering monthly reports to the Quality Assurance, Inspection & Regulation Director.
Stay up to date with regulatory changes (CQC, Ofsted, CIW, and Estyn) and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure ongoing compliance.
Support the Quality Assurance, Inspection & Regulation Director, Group Head of Regulatory Quality Compliance and Policy, and Group Improvement and Development Manager by undertaking project work as needed, contributing to the successful delivery of compliance with legal and regulatory corporate obligations, as well as overseeing acquisition project management
Assist the Group Head of Regulatory Quality Compliance and Policy in ensuring adherence to GDPR and the Data Protection Act, while promoting best practices in Information Governance.
Conduct data analysis to assess usage and compliance rates, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure the accurate production and formatting of policies, procedures, guidance, resources, and other documents, reviewing and editing content as necessary.
Coordinate the timely update of policies and related documents in line with established schedules, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) sponsor to ensure organizational policies remain compliant
In collaboration with Salutem’s audit function, ensure regular reviews are conducted across the organization to provide evidence and assurance to the Group Head of Regulatory Quality Compliance and Policy Group that Salutem’s information governance and data protection processes comply with relevant standards, while effectively managing information governance risks.
Support both internal and external inquiries related to data protection investigations and practices, including addressing data subject rights (such as access, restriction of processing, and erasure) within the required timeframes.
Provide high-quality, comprehensive administrative support and coordination for meetings and activities, ensuring all necessary materials and information are prepared and all logistical arrangements are in place.
Coordinate key projects and meetings as directed by the Quality Assurance, Inspection & Regulation Director, Group Head of Regulatory Quality Compliance and Policy, and Group Improvement and Development Manager.
Serve as a super user of Nourish and other relevant systems, providing the Quality Assurance, Inspection & Regulation Director, Group Head of Regulatory Quality Compliance and Policy, and Group Head of Improvement and Development with accurate and timely reports.
You will support the growth and facilitation of Salutem Voices, fostering an environment for co-production. . You will support the co-production agenda within the Quality Team and collaborate with other teams. In promoting learning and best practices, you will work closely with the Quality Team, shared services, and external partners. By analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data, you will drive lessons learned and implement improvements to enhance people’s experiences.
Awareness of the people who use receive support and care provided by Salutem Care and Education, and their needs in order to co-ordinate and facilitate regional ‘Salutem Voices’ meetings or other service user involvement initiatives. To provide support to the Group Improvement and Development Manager, planning and facilitating Salutem Voices meetings, planning meetings, managing venue booking, minute taking and where required attend Salutem Voices Meetings.
Job Responsibilities
- To manage the quality data metric platform, in conjunction with the Group Quality Assurance & Inspection Manager. Ensuring data is kept up to date and reviewed weekly.
- Working in collaboration with the Group Head of Regulatory Quality Compliance and Policy ensuring regular reviews of the policy intranet, manage the DPO and PIR’s data platforms.
- Support the Group Head of Regulatory Quality Compliance and Policy in managing and tracking applications for Registered Manager and location registrations.
- Ensure oversight of notifications to the regulator and to communicate these to senior managers where this creates an organisational risk.
- Develop sound systems to ensure that all regulatory evidence is effectively collated and updated and accessible at a service level.
- Working with the Quality Assurance, Inspection & Regulation
- Director, develop and implement appropriate professional standards and monitor adherence to policies and procedures at all levels within the group to ensure continued compliance.
- Maintain a system of version and quality control across all relevant Regulatory planning activities.
- To check the validity of information included within policies and procedures as necessary.
- Undertake embedding campaigns and develop relevant resources including easy read documents
- Woking with the Group Improvement and Development Manager, facilitating Salutem Voices. Enabling and advocating on behalf of individuals and facilitating Salutem Voices to identify outcomes to improve the quality of life of those individuals supported.
- Collaborate with the Group Improvement and Development Manager to integrate Salutem Voices into our governance system.
- Communicate effectively with key individuals across the organization to drive personalized care. Shift the approach from "you said, we did" to "we said, we did," ensuring that feedback is actively heard and that we work alongside partners to co-design solutions.
- Promote awareness and understanding of co-production principles and the importance of lived experience representation. Lead the effort to transition from a “You said, We did” model to a more collaborative "We said, We did" approach.
- Foster a culture of information sharing and learning from feedback, working closely with people with lived experience and staff. Lead the collection of feedback from the individuals we support and their care circle.
- Collaborate with other departments to review feedback and take action, providing updates through our communication platforms.
- Manage Quality Team meetings by preparing the agenda, creating meeting presentations, and attending as the note taker.
- Provide support in managing the senior team’s diaries, scheduling meetings, and arranging venues and accommodation as needed.
- Oversee the Quality Team’s training platform, "Your Hippo," by generating detailed reports, addressing any issues, and following up on actions as directed by the Quality Assurance, Inspection & Regulation Director.
- Manage the lessons learned tracker by triangulating data and providing monthly updates to the Quality Assurance, Inspection & Regulation Director.
- Working with the Quality Assurance, Inspection & Regulation Director, Group Head of Regulatory Quality Compliance and Policy and Group Improvement & Development Manager to lead on specific projects to ensure that appropriate development strategies are in place to support the varying complexities of People who use services.
- Ensure that excellence in communication and engagement of staff, individuals we support, and stakeholders is at the centre of everything we do.
- To support data correlation to enable the development of the annual quality assurance and regulatory report.
- Develop manage and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in regard to Compliance and Quality concerns.
- Be an ambassador for the group on quality, communicating key initiatives and key messages using the communication intranet platform.
- Exercise strong leadership and decision making in a style and manner consistent with the company’s values, ensuring the ever-changing needs of Salutem Care and Education are communicated and represented.
- Ensure effective engagement with senior managers, departmental leads, Principals/Head, RD’s, and Registered Managers to encourage cross professional collaboration.
