Working as the Digital Product Manager you will be in our central group function that manages the roadmap for the Saga Website, Saga Magazine online, Magazine App, MySaga, plus future platforms in development stage.  Your role will be to work on digital-first brand propositions, showcase our flagship assets with aspirational online experiences. This role will work on digital products with involvement in strategy, planning and continuous improvement plans. Working with internal and external teams to ensure the customer and internal stakeholder requirements are successfully defined and implemented across a best-in-class digital experience.We work in a hybrid way at Saga both at home and in the office. Your key areas of responsibilities;   To support Saga’s business units with subject matter capability to enable successful delivery of projectsDevelop product vision, features and requirements. Framing customer needs, product problems, opportunities and benefitsWorking with business units to fully understand product propositions and it’s competitive and customer environmentsBe passionate about Saga’s customers, their needs and desires and how they interact with the digital productsBe the product owner and main business contact for decisions, ongoing improvements and measurementDefine requirements for future plans and create scoping documentsWork with the UX & design teams to leverage excellent customer experiences (UX/UI) in solving experience challenges, developing visual concepts and designsResponsible for the delivery of the digital experiences, approval of user stories and work completed with web development and QA teamsUse analytical evaluation (analytics and session recording) & conduct competitor analysis or research to support product recommendations, optimisation, testing using personalisation & new designWorking with external third parties to assess partnerships and solutionsProject management, with particular focus on cross-functional team working using Jira, confluence, monday.com and office 365 tools.The Ideal CandidateThe Ideal CandidateYou will have ideally worked for a large consumer brand as a Product Manager. You will confidently be able to manage stakeholders and project teams. You will also need to demonstrate the following skills;Have extensive experience of managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast paced, competitive environment.Experience in managing web or mobile digital journeys and delivering related product roadmaps or web-based applications.Effective use of data and MVT (Multivariate Testing) to identify and enhance customer experience and business value, and measure and report on outcomes.Proven experience in running beta and pilot programmes with early-stage products.Experience in lean product management and Agile – testing, iterating and scaling initiatives.Have a collaborative approach to work with digital disciplines in designing and delivering high-performing and accessible digital products.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to frame complex problems and contexts to stakeholders and implementation teams.Experience creating capability on different platforms such as content management platforms (Sitecore, Storyblok, WordPress), apps, social, and Adobe suite.Saga Values: Make it Happen, Do the Right Thing, Customer First, Excellence Every Day,Our People Make Us SpecialAbout The CompanyOver the past 70 years we have become the UK's specialist provider of products and services to people aged over 50 in the UK.
