SAP System Engineer (Retail Solutions)- Germany- Permanent
I am currently supporting a premium provider of infrastructure solutions and managed services on their search for an SAP System Engineer (Retail Solutions) to join their teams across Germany on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
* You will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for the all-round support of their SAP (Retail) customers and jointly ensures the smooth operation of the SAP landscapes and their optimization
* You will advise their customers on the decision to use cloud technologies or hybrid solution approaches (on-premise & cloud) and actively participate in customer communication and coordination of customer inquiries
* Together with your colleagues, you will actively shape the SAP NetWeaver landscape and its related products. The focus will be on SAP Business Suite, F&R, CAR, and PI, as well as major HANA platforms.
* Within the team, you will develop ideas for standardization and automation
* You will perform system copies, supervise release and patch management and participate in on-call duty
Experience required:
* You have comprehensive knowledge in the implementation and migration of SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud platforms, ideally with corresponding certifications
* You already have basic knowledge of the Linux and UNIX operating systems and a strong understanding of technical contexts (application, network)
* Your knowledge in the administration of one of the SAP database systems (e.g. SAP HANA, SAP ASE, Oracle, DB2 on Unix) underlines your profile
* You bring a goal-oriented and independent working style with a high level of service orientation and a team player mentality
* Strong communication skills in both German and English.
* You have completed vocational training in IT and have gained (initial) industry-specific professional experience and/or have completed qualified further training measures
